Child of the Ghetto was heavily slept on and never received the acclaim it deserved. This song is by far the realist shit I ever heard in my life probably in part cause I can relate it to my own life. This feels like my story.

I usually don't write personal post but in the past 6 months I've had to deal with a lot of issues dealing with "friends" and I've never felt more alone in my life. The people that have stayed around me have stopped me from doing a lot of things I would have regretted down the road, 3 murders and a couple kidnappings. Things were way past the planning stages, I actually spent nights sitting on people's steps waiting for people to come out when it was 20 below. When your motivated enough to spend hours outside in that kind of cold you know shit is real.

Dealing with the pain I developed a syrup problem, mind you I on the syrup before that but it wasn't a problem before that. I'm not physically addicted like say Lil Wayne but I just can't cope with day to day life without it. "Its like I only get by when I'm feeling the high". Having been on it once in the last 2 months I can relate to everything G-Dep is saying on the song.
